A good feed is required in order to achieve optimal results on the farm and a good feed can only be made with a high quality fat source. Fat quality can be judged from two sides: the nutritional quality and the contaminants in the fat.
The nutritional quality of the fat is secured by paying a great deal of attention to processing. This is not only limited to optimising the fatty acid profile, melting point and free fatty acid content of the product. Marvesa uses stainless steel tanks for production and keeps pumping of the product to a minimum. In this way, oxidation during production and storage is kept to a minimum.
